Day	Activities
Thursday	Reception at Lisbon airport at around 2pm. Transfer to accommodation 45 km from the airport (45 minutes). Presentation and distribution of horses. 3-hour ride through a pine forest, overlooking the sea. Dinner at the lodge (charming rural tourism, in a forest, near the sea).
Friday	Breakfast at the lodge. All-day horseback ride through the stone pine forest, crossing the beach several times for long periods and galloping along it. Lunch in a typical restaurant on the beach, with regional cuisine, preferably fish caught locally. Dinner at the accommodation.
Saturday	Breakfast at the accommodation. Drive to a mountain in the Arrábida Natural Park, 30 minutes by car, observing the Serra-Mar landscape. Horseback riding all day on the mountain, “Serra do Louro”. The vegetation along the way is made up of Mediterranean mahogany, olive trees, cork oak forest, pine trees and pastures. Lunch at the “Quinta do Alcube” farm (www.quintadealcube.pt), halfway through the tour. This historic farm has traces of the Neolithic period, the Roman period and the founding of Portugal (12th century). Today, it is famous for its wines and cheese. A full lunch is served with regional specialties and preceded by a tasting of the quinta’s wines. Transfer to the hotel in the historic center of Lisbon (45 minutes), “Rossio”, a lively area with a cultural nightlife. Recommendation of restaurants and places to visit Saturday evening.
Sunday	Free day (the airport is 20 minutes from the center of Lisbon by cab)
